Celebrations were held grandly in Peddapendyala village of Dharmasagar mandal of Hanumakonda district to mark the completion of 12 years of the Kalyanalakshmi scheme. Under the leadership of Telangana’s first Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Tatikonda Rajaiah, women anointed the portrait of former Chief Minister KCR with milk and expressed gratitude. Rajaiah praised the scheme for supporting the marriages of girls from poor families. Several leaders participated in the program.
