A ground-breaking ceremony was held on Sunday to install conch, chakra and nama in front of the famous Swayambhu Sri Abhaya Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Khanapuram, Khammam for the convenience of devotees. The program, which will be undertaken with the support of Shyamala Srinivas Reddy and his wife, was attended by members of the temple trust board. Special pujas were performed amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras and the ground-breaking ceremony was performed. The organizers said that the spiritual feeling among the devotees will be further enhanced by the installation of conch, chakra and nama in the temple premises. They appreciated the cooperation of the devotees in the development of the temple. Trust board chairman Allika Anjaiah, along with members and devotees, participated in the program and made the puja programs a success.
