Khammam: Locals are expressing concern that road accidents are taking place frequently on the main road leading from Kavitha College in Gattaiah Center to the new municipal office in the city, from the Apollo Pharmacy corner to Sitara T Kefta. People are saying that the risk of accidents is increasing as motorists are traveling at high speed in this area. They said that pedestrians and two-wheelers are facing difficulties especially during rush hours as the speed of vehicles is not controlled. Locals are demanding that the Khammam Traffic Police respond and take necessary measures to control traffic at Apollo Pharmacy and also take necessary measures to control speed. They are appealing to install speed breakers and warning boards to prevent accidents.
