A meeting of the district executive committee was held at the Kurnool District SC, YST, BC Minority Mahila Aikya Vedika headquarters under the chairmanship of Rayalaseema Division President Bharatamma. Mahila Aikya Vedika State President Nandi Vijayalakshmi participated in this meeting. Speaking on the occasion, Nandi Vijayalakshmi explained the procedures and policies of Mahila Aikya Vedika on the methods to be followed by the committee members and asked her executive committee to take Mahila Aikya Vedika forward with honesty and commitment. She informed the mandal district committees that Mahila Aikya Vedika Committees should be formed in all mandals of Kurnool district and Nandyal district and that members should work to strengthen Mahila Aikya Vedika. She also said that in the current society, women have to constantly fight for their self-respect and rights, and on the other hand, she called on all women to unite and fight against the rapes, murders, and attacks on women. Nandyal District Chief Secretary Katika Bhanu, Nandyal District Vice President Aakuthota Padmavati, Kurnool District Vice President Usen B, Kodumuru Mandal President Dastagiramma, Bethancharla Mandal President Kommu Peddakka, Shekun B, Lakshmeshwari, Kanyakumari, Sheik Ismat, Khaja B and others participated in this program.
