CPI Town Secretary K. Prasad criticized the increase in the number of wards from 42 to 52 in Nandyal town, but the infrastructure has not improved. He spoke at a press conference held at the CPI office. He said that people are facing difficulties due to lack of CC roads, drainages and street lights in many areas of the town. He said that sewage is coming onto the roads without removing silt from the canals and the problems of mosquitoes and stray dogs are serious. He said that potholes have formed due to the roads not being dug for pipelines and repaired, causing problems for the people. The CPI Town Committee demanded that the problems be solved by providing infrastructure in the wards. AIYF District Secretary G. Nagaramudu, CPI Town Assistant Secretary Lakshmi Devi, AITUC Town President D. Srinivasulu and Mahila Samaikya Town Secretary Susheelamma participated in the meeting.
