The strike of village revenue assistants continued for the 15th day at the Nandyal Tahsildar office. The VRAs protested on their knees on Wednesday demanding a solution to their problems. Speaking on the occasion, District President Narayana demanded that the pay scale be implemented on the Telangana model, that VRAs be promoted to VRO and that the government fulfill the promises made immediately. He said that since the government has not responded despite the strike for 15 days, the VRAs of all the mandals will organize a non-cooperation program at the Collectorate on October 1 from 10 am to 5 pm. He said that the strike will continue again at the Tahsildar office on October 2. Honorary President Erra Boorigalu, Mandal Presidents Akathar Bhasha, Nagesh, Sekhar, Moulali, Vijay, Shivalingam, Jayakrishna, Chennaiyya, Yashwant Prasad and others participated in the program.
