Those who have applied for old age pension in Khammam district are facing disappointment. As part of the process of granting new pensions, a total of 27,772 people have applied in Khammam district. It is reported that the authorities have examined the applications of widows, single women and the disabled and registered the details of the eligible ones online. However, there are doubts among the elderly about the rejection of applications for old age pension. Many elderly people are expressing their grievances that they have not been granted pension despite being eligible. They want the government to clarify this issue and grant pensions to the eligible elderly.
