The city residents bid a grand farewell to Ganapayya.

The devotees who had been worshipping at the Ganesh Mandals in Hyderabad for the past ten days welcomed the Ganesh Nimajjan today. During this Ganesh Nimajjan Yatra, especially the youth, bid farewell with great enthusiasm and devotion, distributing food and Prasad. Since today was a Friday, even the police personnel were not in a hurry. They were still starting the immersion till 9 pm. During this Yatra, the Ganesh idols, which had been worshipped at various Mandals in the city for the past ten days, were a feast for the devotees.
