Special initiative should be taken on PGRS petitions **Markapuram, September 28:** Markapuram District Collector Vijaya Sunitha has ordered the officials to take special initiative in resolving PGRS petitions. Petitions were received from the public at the PGRS program organized at the Markapuram Collectorate on Monday. The officials were advised to look into the root causes and provide a permanent solution instead of just recording the problems. They were instructed to pay special attention to petitions related to the Revenue Department and resolve them within the stipulated time. Meanwhile, a total of 216 petitions were received in PGRS on Monday, of which 134 were related to the Revenue Department. Officials said that 96 petitions were received on the issues of the villages submerged in the Veligonda project. The Collector ordered that the issues of the villages submerged be resolved on priority.
