Rainfall was recorded in several mandals in the district from 8.30 am on Tuesday to 8.30 am on Wednesday. While 97.4 mm. of rainfall was recorded across the district, the average rainfall in the district was 4.6 mm, said the Meteorological Department officials. If we look at the mandals, Sathupalli mandal recorded the highest rainfall of 20.4 mm. After that, Vemsur 15.2, Errupalem 10.4, Kalluru 7.6, Penuballi 5.2, and Konijarla 4.8 mm. Rainfall was recorded. Thirumalayapalem, Vaira, and Tallada mandals recorded 4.2 mm. of rainfall each. Officials revealed that Kusumanchi mandal recorded the lowest rainfall of 0.6 mm in the district. They said that light to moderate rains fell in some other parts of the district.
