Water reaching the road after three days of rain.. Difficulties for children to go to Anganwadi centers Punnami Representative Anand (District Bureau) Yelamanchili: Due to the three days of rain, the Pulaparthi canal in Atikoppaka village of Yelamanchili mandal is overflowing. Since the canal is below the road, the water coming from the canal is reaching the road and causing serious problems for the movement of locals. Especially the residents of the colony and people walking on this route are facing serious problems. Since there are two Anganwadi centers in the same area, parents are worried about taking their children to the centers. Locals say that the situation is likely to become more troublesome if the rains continue. The villagers are requesting the authorities and public representatives to take immediate steps to control the flow of canal water so that water does not stagnate on the road and ensure that there is no problem for the people to move around. They are demanding that the authorities respond immediately and provide a permanent solution.
