Punnami Representative Anand: Rambilli: Keeping road safety in mind, Rambilli Police Station SI Nagendra has made it clear that they will continuously check those driving vehicles with excessive load and take legal action against those who violate the rules. While checking vehicles at IOCL Junction in this regard, the police identified two lorries traveling with overloaded vehicles in violation of the rules. In these checks conducted under the supervision of SI Nagendra, a fine of Rs. 20,035 was imposed on each lorry, totaling Rs. 40,070. SI Nagendra said that there is a high chance of accidents due to driving vehicles with excessive load, and such checks will continue to prevent harm to people’s lives and property. He warned that strict action will be taken against motorists who violate the rules. Police sources said that this action has increased alertness among local motorists and it will serve as a warning to those traveling with overloaded vehicles.
