Khammam, June (Puvvada Nagendra Kumar Punnami District Reporter) The increasing traffic problem on the main road in Khammam city is causing great inconvenience to the people. Especially on the main road from the Telugu Desam Party office to the new corporation office, heavy traffic jams are being formed every day from Monday to Saturday. Locals say that the traffic problem is getting worse due to vehicles being stopped on the side of the road at will, mainly at the Kavitha College corner, Bank of Maharashtra intersection, Sitara Commercial Complex and other business complexes. They are expressing their concern that students, employees, traders and the general public are facing difficulties getting stuck in traffic for hours in the morning and evening. They say that this traffic is also becoming an obstacle for the movement of vehicles related to emergency services. In this context, people are demanding that the traffic police take special measures and provide a permanent solution to the problem by controlling illegal parking, deputing traffic personnel in crowded areas and setting up ‘no parking’ zones if necessary.
