Bogolu, September 25: Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Jayanti celebrations were held at the Bogolu Mandal Bharatiya Janata Party office on Thursday. On this occasion, BJP leaders and activists paid tribute to his portrait by garlanding it.

Speaking on the occasion, the leaders said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya had rendered distinguished service as a prominent leader, philosopher and pioneer in the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. He said that the Ekatma humanism proposed by him was crucial in the ideological foundations of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

As part of the Jayanti celebrations, party leaders visited the Anganwadi center in Bogolu mandal. They distributed nutritious food to the children there. On this occasion, the leaders suggested that everyone should pay special attention to the health and nutrition of children.

BJP Mandal President Veerala Srinivas Yadav, BJP District OBC Morcha Vice President Nookasani Srinivasulu Yadav, former BJP Mandal President Gurram Venkateswarlu, BJP women leader Nookasani Rajyalakshmi, BJP Mandal General Secretary Gopi Krishna, party workers, Anganwadi staff and others participated in the program.
