Paderu: Alluri district BSP leaders demanded that the government immediately respond to the deaths of 27 Dalits during the coalition government’s rule in the last two years. They demanded that the families of the deceased be given an ex-gratia of Rs. 50 lakh each and that one person in the family be given a government job. They demanded that cases be registered under the 1989 SC and ST Atrocities Act and those responsible for the incidents be arrested. The leaders protested in front of the Paderu Collectorate on the orders of Andhra Pradesh BSP president Bandela Gautam Kumar. Later, a petition was submitted to the Alluri district collector under the leadership of Alluri district BSP president Shetty Lakshminarayana. BSP presidents of Araku and Paderu constituencies Priyanka Raj and Pothuraj participated in the program.
