Anakapalli Punnami Representative (Anand) Dadi Veerunaidu College organized the Ocean Literacy Awareness Program organized by the Center for Studies on Bay of Bengal, Andhra University and the Indian National Center for Ocean Information Services. Dr. Snehaja, a scientist from the Ministry of Earth Sciences, INCOIS, was the chief guest and made the students aware about the impact of the ocean on humanity and our impact on the ocean. Speaking on the occasion, she explained how the ocean controls our environment and livelihood. She explained how human activities affect the health of the ocean. She explained in this awareness program how to use and protect marine resources for humanity. College Principal Korubilli Ramesh, Vice Principal S Daya Madhuri and other faculty members participated in this program.
