Measures taken to prevent pinworms in Bogolu mandal Punnami News Reporter Bogolu Mandal Gopalakrishna Reddy Bogolu: On the occasion of National Pinworms Prevention Day, officials have made extensive arrangements to distribute Albendazole tablets to students in Bogolu mandal. Steps have been taken to provide Albendazole tablets to students in government and private schools, Anganwadi centers and junior colleges in the mandal from September 1 to 19 after midday meal. A coordination meeting of mandal-level officials was held at the Bogolu Mandal MPDO office. Officials said that a total of 8,030 students in the mandal will be provided with Albendazole tablets. MPDO, Tahsildar, MEO, Medical Officers, medical staff and Anganwadi staff participated in this program. He urged local public representatives, officials, teachers, and parents to cooperate in successfully implementing the deworming program. Officials called for the success of the National Deworming Day program to be held on September 25.
