On this occasion, the villagers gave a grand welcome to the Ganapayya idol and performed special pujas. Later, the devotees who reached the local stream performed pujas in the traditional manner. The water from the stream was sprinkled on the Ganapayya idol and the immersion ceremony was performed. Later, the Karra Ganapayya idol was preserved in the traditional manner. It is a tradition to preserve the Karra Ganapayya idol without immersing it every year. This program ended in a peaceful atmosphere reflecting the devotion and traditions of the villagers.
