Khammam Punnami Prati Nidhi July Honorable Judge Mrs. B. Nagalakshmi investigated and fined the motorists in 70 drunken and drive cases registered under the Khammam Traffic Police Station. In these cases, a fine of Rs. 10 thousand was imposed on each motorist, totaling Rs. 7 lakh. Speaking on the occasion, Khammam Traffic Inspector Sri Bellam Satyanarayana said that there is a high chance of road accidents and loss of life due to drunk driving. People are advised not to drive after drinking alcohol, keeping in mind their own lives as well as the lives of others. He appealed to everyone to follow the traffic rules and cooperate in safe road travel.
