Ibrahimpatnam RTC depot faces severe shortage of buses, outdated vehicles

*Early shortage of buses at Ibrahimpatnam RTC depot: Commuters face hardships due to outdated vehicles!!* (NTR District), Ibrahimpatnam, September Punnami News. The public transport system is facing a huge crisis under today’s government administration. The Ibrahimpatnam RTC depot in NTR district is currently facing a severe shortage of buses. Due to the ever-deteriorating conditions, only nine buses are left in this once dilapidated depot, which can be understood as how dire the situation is. Since the nine existing buses are also outdated, there is a confusion as to when and where they will stop. Vehicles that are beyond repair.. Mechanics’ hardships It is noteworthy that there is a lack of proper spare parts available even for basic repairs to the vehicles in the depot. Even if there is a small problem, the mechanics are facing hardships due to lack of spare parts. With buses being sent on the roads with few facilities and in a hurry, passenger safety has become a lamp in the air. The hellish journey of people who cannot reach their destinations is a problem for employees, students and common people who travel daily, not knowing when the buses will arrive or whether they will run at all. They are unable to reach their destinations on time as the buses break down in the middle of the road. People are becoming extremely impatient due to lack of proper information and lack of transportation facilities. This is leading to unnecessary misunderstandings and an atmosphere of conflict between the depot staff and the public. *Workers who say privatization is better..!!* The same workers who once fought to save the RTC.. are today expressing deep dissatisfaction over the plight of the depot. They are worried that if the government’s negligence and lack of funds continue like this, the organization will not be able to survive. The debate is currently being heard strongly among the depot workers, ‘Would it be better to privatize the RTC?’ rather than this chaotic administration. Locals are demanding that the RTC face this huge crisis due to the indifference of the rulers, and that the higher officials and public representatives respond immediately and allocate new buses to the Ibrahimpatnam depot, as well as supply the necessary spare parts, to alleviate the hardships of the passengers.
