People are advised to be alert as the intensity of rains is likely to increase on September 23 and 24. As there is a possibility of heavy rains along with strong winds, they are asked not to go out except in emergency situations. They are advised not to stay near trees, electric poles and old buildings. Tahsildar Varahalu appealed to the people to monitor the weather conditions from time to time and follow the instructions of the authorities.
