Sri Kalahasti, July 02: (Punnami News): The state executive secretary of the TDP BC unit of Thottambedu Mandal, Dr. M. Umesh Rao, has praised the sacrifice of Melupaku Gopi Mudiraj, the leader of the BC unit of Thottambedu Mandal, who laid down his life to oppose the irregularities of the previous YCP rulers. After the Srikalahasti constituency cadre meeting on Wednesday, he met the party’s national working president Nara Lokesh and local MLA Bojjala Venkata Sudheer Reddy and submitted a petition requesting them to stand by the family of Gopi Mudiraj. He recalled that on May 29, 2020, YCP leaders brutally murdered Gopi Mudiraj for preventing the seizure of government and private properties in Thottambedu. He expressed his grief that most of those who lost their lives and properties in the righteous struggle against the brutal rule of the previous government were BCs. He alleged that the NDA alliance leaders had complained to the authorities about the land grabbing of the past but to no avail, and that the machinery had supported the squatters. He made it clear that the struggles of the martyrs who lost their lives at the hands of YCP cadres would not be allowed to go in vain. Vannekula Kshatriya Corporation Director Minnal Ravi, PACS Chairman Bhimala Bhaskar Mudiraj, party leaders Vajram Kishore, Chillakuru Mani, Kota Chandrasekhar, Bhimala Chandu, Venkateswarlu, Gurumurthy, Muniprasad, Muniratnam, Damodaram, Venkatayya, Chalapathi, Sai, and Nagaraju participated in the program.
