Good news for AP consumers on electricity bills! A decision has been made that will bring relief to electricity consumers in Andhra Pradesh. APERC has allowed a truddown of Rs. 629 crore for 2025-26. APERC has ordered that this amount be adjusted in the electricity bills collected from consumers in future. Meanwhile, it is reported that Rs. 924 crore has been truddown in 2024-25 as well. With this, DISCOMs are reducing electricity bills by 13 paise per unit. ⚡📉 👉 This will be a decision that will reduce the burden of bills for electricity consumers.
