Punnami Representative Anand: CPM District Secretary G. Koteswara Rao has demanded that the lands in Golagam Survey No. 137/3 be removed from the 22A prohibited list. On Thursday, a dharna was organized under the auspices of the CPM along with the affected land owners at the Anakapalle Tahsildar’s office. Speaking on the occasion, Koteswara Rao said that it is unfair to include the lands purchased in 2012 in Samriddhi Venture and registered in the Sabbavaram Sub-Registrar’s office in 22A now. He said that an NOC was also issued from the Collector’s office at that time. He demanded that the lands of the eligible land owners be removed from 22A after examining the registration documents, link documents and NOCs and conducting a comprehensive survey. He warned that if the issue is not resolved immediately, they will stage a protest at the Tahsildar’s office and intensify the agitation. CPM Gajuwaka Zone Secretary M. Rambabu, Anakapalle Mandal Convener Ganta Sriram, D. Ramana, and Golagam landowners participated in the program.
