Ghatkesar: Ganesh Navratri celebrations were held with great devotion in Bugganagar Colony on Friday. The organizers said that since 1988, the colony has been organizing Navratri festivals by installing a Ganesh idol every year. After conducting special pujas and devotional programs for nine days, the Ganesh idol was previously taken in a procession on bullock carts and immersed. A large number of devotees attended the Annadanam program organized as part of the celebrations on the seventh day. The organizers said that more than 1500 devotees were provided Annaprasadam on this occasion. The devotees visited the Lord and participated in special pujas. Similarly, the laddu auction, which is a special attraction during the Ganesh festivals, is also receiving a good response, the organizers said. They expressed hope that the laddu auction will be held at a higher price this year. They said that the price of the laddu auction held last year was Rs. 69 thousand, and they expressed hope that the laddu auction will be held at a higher price this year. Sanjay, Ajay, Vigneshwar Youth members, Rahul, Shiva, Bhupender, Anil, Tillu and others participated in the organization of these festivals.
