• Minimize harm, especially when reporting on children, victims, grief, health and vulnerable people.
• Respect privacy unless a clear public-interest reason justifies disclosure.
• Avoid discriminatory or dehumanizing language.
• Identify conflicts of interest and gifts that may influence coverage.
• Credit source material and use images only with a lawful basis.
