Education Minister Lokesh: We will provide drinking water connection to every doorstep of Mangalagiri

*Drinking water connection to every doorstep in Mangalagiri by the 2029 elections!* *We will also complete underground drainage and underground gas connections* *We will open a 100-bed hospital next year* *The competition for seats in government schools has started from Mangalagiri* *Bless the coalition candidates in the local body elections* *Minister Nara Lokesh in the distribution of third phase of pattas* *Permanent pattas for 372 people in the Mana Illu – Mana Lokesh program* Tadepalli: I will take the responsibility of completing drinking water connections, underground gas connections and underground drainage to every doorstep in Mangalagiri by the 2029 elections, and I am committed to every promise made then, said Education, IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh. As part of the Mana Illu – Mana Lokesh program, Minister Lokesh distributed permanent pattas and PMAY sanction documents to 372 people at the hands of Minister Lokesh. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said… A 100-bed hospital in Mangalagiri has been the dream of the people for decades. After the people’s government came to power, we have started the construction of a hospital for the first time in the state in an unexpected way. We will take the responsibility of completing the hospital work in the first three months of next year and dedicating it to the people. During the elections, they asked for a permanent solution to the problem of retaining wall, underground drainage and drinking water for the Mahanadu dam. We will take them up in a planned manner and complete them. *The overwhelming majority has increased my responsibility* Although I was not born in Mangalagiri, I considered Mangalagiri my hometown in 2019 and contested as an MLA here. The elections were over before I could understand the people here, and I lost that day by a margin of 5300 votes. That defeat has made me stronger. I have worked hard for five years to win your heart and decided to go to the assembly as an MLA from here. Do not ask me to win with that majority by adding a zero to the number of votes I lost in 2019 during the election campaign. The more majority you make me win, the more strength I will gain. I promised that day that I would fight Chandrababu and Pawananna and bring funds. With your blessings, I won with a top-3 majority in the history of Andhra Pradesh. When I asked for a majority of 53 thousand, you blessed me with a lead of 92 thousand votes and sent me to the assembly. My responsibility has increased with the majority you gave me. Since that day, I have been thinking about the people of Mangalagiri all the time. *We have distributed property worth Rs. 2 thousand crores* During the 2019 elections, many leaders asked me to give assurances on the issue of house titles of the people of Mangalagiri. I could not give a guarantee then because I did not understand the problem. When I came to Gadapadapa in the last elections, I understood the problem after talking to people who have been living here for decades. Owning a house is an emotion. The whole family worked hard and built a house. At that time, there was a situation where officials and politicians were afraid that the house was not theirs and that they would leave here tomorrow. I gave a guarantee then to put a full stop to that. Your coalition government is providing permanent pattas to about 400 people in the third phase. The promise given then that they would give pattas with turmeric and saffron, with clothes, is being kept today. The people’s government has provided permanent rights to property worth about Rs. 2,002 in the first phase, 2,670 in the second phase, and 388 in the third phase, totaling about Rs. 2,000 crore. *Mangalgiri model as a guide for the state* The process pioneered by Mangalagiri is being implemented throughout the state today. When I brought the issue of pattas in Mangalagiri to the attention of the Chief Minister, he told me that this problem needs to be solved anywhere in Andhra Pradesh. He went to the houses of the officials and leaders without even taking a single glass of water and collected details. We are all united to solve the problems of the people.
We are working with perseverance and commitment. The foundation laid in Mangalagiri has become a compass for Andhra Pradesh. Recently, the government provided 29,000 pattas to the people in Visakhapatnam. Soon, another 24,000 will be provided in Vijayawada. This is the commitment of the Honorable Chief Minister towards the poor. *Nidamarru School as an example in the country* On the other hand, as the Education Minister, I brought many reforms. But with the intention of doing something special for my own constituency, Nidamarru School was developed in a way that is unmatched anywhere else in India. The other day, when I went to a program in Mangalagiri, I got into an argument with them about wanting a seat for their child in Nidamarru School. The competition for seats in government schools started from Mangalagiri. This is not just one Nidamarru school. I am working with the idea of making all government schools in the state similar. We are developing the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple on a large scale. We are constructing parks, community halls, and roads. We have reopened the closed Anna Canteens. We have set up water plants to provide safe drinking water. Today, the public government is also developing temples, churches, and mosques wonderfully. We are also developing cemeteries. *I will repay the trust placed in me* The public government is working with the idea of supporting the people of Mangalagiri in every way and providing facilities. In 2019-24, I spent my own funds and implemented many welfare development programs for the people of Mangalagiri. Even after coming to power, we did not stop those works. We are taking them forward even better. I am repaying your trust placed in me. I will work tirelessly for you. I always think about the people of Mangalagiri. I do not take up any other work. No matter how much work pressure I have, I give priority to solving the problems of Mangalagiri, and we always need your blessings. From leaders to activists, everyone is thinking about you. We are able to develop so much because of the majority you have given. Just as you made me win in the last elections, bless the coalition candidates and make them win with a good majority in the upcoming local body elections. *I will not make many promises…I will keep everything I have given* I will not make many promises. But I will keep all the promises I have made. I have written down all the problems you mentioned during the door-to-door program. I am monitoring everything. I am reviewing the progress every week. As part of that, we have taken up the house title program. There are still programs to be done. We are first taking up all the work to be done on a war footing. Minister Lokesh said that roads will be laid immediately where the underground drainage, drinking water through pipeline, and underground gas pipeline process are completed. APMSIDC Chairman Chillapalli Srinivasa Rao, TDP Polit Bureau Member Guthikonda Dhanunjay, TTD Board Member Tammisetti Janakidevi, TDP State Secretary Akula Jayasatya, TDP Guntur Parliament General Secretary Pothineni Srinivasa Rao, Mangalagiri Constituency Observer Mummidi Satyanarayana, Mangalagiri Town TDP President Padavala Mahesh, Mandal Party President Pallabotula Srinivasa Rao, Tadepalli Town TDP President Vallabhaneni Venkat Rao, Rural President Dasari Krishna and others participated in this program. *******
