Amalapuram: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar A key step forward has been taken for the Kotipalli-Narsapur broad gauge railway line, which has been a decades-long dream of the people of Konaseema district. The state government has issued GO No. 575 allocating Rs. 100 crore as its share for the construction of the railway project. Amalapuram MP Ganti Harish Madhur said that he had consulted with the central and state governments for the project and written letters several times. According to the agreement, the state government has agreed to bear 25 percent of the civil construction cost along with land acquisition. As part of this, it was stated that the latest allocation of Rs. 100 crore has been made. The funds will be transferred to the Amalapuram RDO account and the land acquisition work will be expedited under the supervision of the District Collector and RDO. The people of Konaseema are expressing joy that the allocation of funds has created an opportunity to make further progress in the railway project work.
