⛔ Encroachers should be removed immediately. ⛔ Communist Party of India CPI Demand Punnami News Sullurpet 📌The Pattana Samiti, under the auspices of the Communist Party of India CPI, submitted a petition to the Sullurpet Tahsildar on Friday, stating that the government lands in Vatrapalem under Sullurpet Municipality have been encroached upon. 📌About 25 years ago, Vijayabharti, who was the then MRO in Sullurpet, sanctioned about 823 flats in Vatrapalem village survey numbers 22/16, 23, 24, 27/18 & 27/2. 📌Since then till 2010, about 120 families have established permanent residence there and started living there, 📌About 570 families are living there since 2010 till now. 📌Ravi Kumar, who was the previous Tahsildar, has cancelled the titles of some houses, 📌but a landlord adjacent to the Vatrapalem layout is trying to encroach on Vatrapalem and is threatening the poor families who have been living there since 2012 to vacate the places, 📌if they do not do so, he will register the plots in their names in the civil records if they pay him some money, 📌if they do not, he will demolish their houses with a JCB, he informed the Tahsildar of Sullurpet. 📌He told the Tahsildar that he would thoroughly inspect the Vatrapalem village and get the layout surveyed and justice could be done to the families living there.
