Congress’s misinformation campaign against the Election Commission should stop. False allegations against SIR are not correct.. Justice should be done to every eligible voter: Nellore Koteswara Rao

BJP Khammam district president Nelloori Koteswara Rao said that the Congress party should stop its misinformation campaign against the Election Commission. He spoke at a media conference held at the BJP district office in Khammam on Monday. He said that it is not right for the Congress to blame constitutional institutions every time it faces defeat in the elections. He criticized that it has become a habit for the party to make allegations against EVMs and the Election Commission. He said that portraying the Special Comprehensive Voter List (SIR) as vote theft is misleading the people. He said that correcting errors in the voter list, removing names of deceased persons and duplicate entries are part of the election process. He suggested that not a single eligible voter’s name be removed and that ineligible entries should be examined. The EC revealed that the decisions were taken unanimously in a meeting of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi on September 26. He asked that if there are any allegations, they should approach the relevant authorities with evidence. He said that BLOs should cooperate with those who have received notices without any difficulties and special assistance centers should be set up for the elderly and the poor. Bhukya Shyamsunder Nayak, Mekala Nagender, Mandadapu Subbarao, Nunna Ravikumar, Ravi Rathod, Ravi Goud, Nayak and others participated in this meeting.
