As the cyclonic storm is expected to cross the coast at Polaki at 1 am tonight, he ordered the entire machinery to be on high alert on the 24th and 25th of this month and to take preventive measures to prevent any loss of life anywhere. He made it clear that a holiday should be declared for schools and Anganwadis in the rain-affected areas tomorrow, and that there should be no shortage of drinking water, food, medicines and electricity for the people.
