Punnami Representative Anand (District Bureau) Anakapalle: AIDWA State General Secretary V. Savitri demanded that the number of RTC buses be increased according to the passenger traffic. A memorandum was handed over to the Anakapalle District RTC Depot Manager to this effect. He said that the number of women passengers has increased with the implementation of the Sri Shakti scheme, and while buses and staff need to be increased accordingly, the congestion is increasing due to the decrease in the number of buses. He requested that buses be stopped at bus stops and that orders be issued to ensure that the staff behave politely with women passengers.
