Due to unfavorable weather conditions due to the influence of a cyclone in the Bay of Bengal, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar has temporarily suspended boat and crop traffic on the Godavari River between Sakhinetipalli Lanka Port in Konaseema district and Narasapuram in West Godavari district. Officials said that this decision was taken keeping in mind the safety of passengers as per the orders of the Konaseema District Collector. Officials advised people to be vigilant due to the influence of the cyclone and not to take boat trips on the Godavari River until the weather completely improves. They revealed that the main objective of this decision was the safety of people’s lives and that boat traffic would be restored as soon as the conditions improve.
