Khammam July 3 (Punnami News / Puvvada Nagendra Kumar, District Reporter) Khammam Cyber Crime Police has arrested a woman in Trivandrum, Kerala, in a case of cheating her of Rs. 15 lakhs by promising her high profits in the name of online trading and investment, said Police Commissioner Sunil Dutt. According to police details, the accused, who met a private employee from Khammam district through WhatsApp, convinced her that she would get high profits by trading and investing in the company “Enum Asset Management Portfolio Limited”. Later, they sent trading links and invested about Rs. 15 lakhs with the victim and committed fraud. As part of the investigation into this case, the police have arrested Advocate Aryadas Sailaja (34) from Trivandrum, Kerala. The police revealed that transactions worth Rs 2 lakh were made through her bank account, and that transactions worth about Rs 3 crore were made through that account, which is linked to 38 cyber crime cases registered in various states of the country. The accused was brought to Khammam on a transit warrant and produced before the cyber crime court, which remanded her in custody. Police Commissioner Sunil Dutt congratulated Cyber Crime DSP Phaninder, Inspector Ravikumar, SSPs Ranjit Kumar and Vijay Kumar, as well as the staff of the Cyber Crime Police Station, who played a key role in the investigation of this case.
