Nakirekal: November (Punnami Reporter) District Collector Ila Tripathi inspected the Dindi Balancing Reservoir Project and Nakkalagandi Thanda centers on Saturday. She inspected the flood situation of Dindi Balancing Reservoir due to heavy rains last month. She especially inspected Nakkalagandi Thanda, a village submerged by Dindi Balancing Reservoir, as well as the reservoir embankment. Speaking on the occasion, she requested that the remaining five percent of the work be completed as soon as possible as 95% of the work on Dindi Balancing Reservoir has been completed. On this occasion, farmers living downstream of the Dindi project met the District Collector and said that they are facing problems due to spring water and requested that the R&R package be increased for them too. Revenue Additional Collector J. Srinivas, Devarakonda RDO Ramana Reddy, Supervising Engineer Badru, Executive Engineer Satyanarayana, D.E. Chakrapani, Pawan and others were present.
