Punnami Representative Anand Amaravati, September 21: On the request of the owners of A4 liquor shops, the government has extended the renewal deadline for the year 2026-27 by two more days. With this, the renewal process has been completed by September 23. 3,650 A4 liquor shops have been notified across the state. Rs. 676 crore has been collected till 7.15 pm on September 21 against the demand of Rs. 933.44 crore under renewal RET and application fee. Rs. 441 crore has been collected against the demand of Rs. 2,454.76 crore under annual RET and Rs. 62 crore has been collected against Rs. 249.15 crore under permit room RET. Officials revealed that Rs. 1,179.63 crore has been collected so far against the total annual demand of Rs. 3,637.35 crore under the three sections. The government said that the renewal deadline has been extended until the 23rd of this month, considering the requests of liquor shop owners.
