KDCC Bank Manager K. Udayashree advised people to always be vigilant when it comes to banking digital transactions. On Wednesday, a financial literacy awareness seminar was organized under the auspices of the bank in Venkatapur village of Manthani mandal. On this occasion, the ‘Ramesh Team’ team created awareness among the villagers about cyber crimes and financial issues through a short story presentation. Later, Manager Udayashree said.. Cyber criminals are exploiting the hopes and fears of the people and committing frauds. He made it clear that they should not trust suspicious messages and links in the names of loan apps, lotteries, part-time jobs, high profits with low investment, PAN card update, Aadhaar linkage. He asked them not to tell OTP, ATM PIN, passwords, bank details to anyone and not to search for unauthorized loan apps on Google. He said that the account holders should submit their KYC details to the bank from time to time. He explained that farmers are being provided with various types of loans through Kisan Credit Card (KCC) for crop loans, dairy cattle, sheep, oil palm, polyhouses, tractors, gold loans, self-help groups, house construction, business and foreign education. He said that the highest interest rate of 8 percent is being offered on cooperative bank deposits, and it was suggested to avail the facility of Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana with Rs. 436 and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana with Rs. 20. AMC Chairman Kududula Venkanna, Sarpanch Thota Pochayya, Upasarpanch Kirti Sai, Field Officer Sandeboyna Srinivas, FLC Mohan Rao, bank staff Maheshwari, cooperative society staff Naramalla Vidyasagar, Paidakula Rakesh and others participated in this program.
