September 25, 2026 – Nirmal Punnami Representative District In-Charge Additional Collector Revenue Rathod Ramesh has instructed the officials to carry out the Kharif crop procurement process in a systematic manner. On Friday evening, the District In-Charge Additional Collector, officials of the concerned departments and managers of the purchasing centers held a meeting on the Kharif (rainy season) paddy procurement process in the conference hall of the Collectorate. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the officials of the concerned departments and managers of the purchasing centers should work in coordination and carry out the crop procurement in a systematic manner. He said that appropriate plans should be made in view of the experiences faced in the field in the past. He said that farmers should not face any problems in the procurement process. He explained that all necessary infrastructure facilities should be provided to the farmers at the purchasing centers. Agricultural officials should collect details mandal-wise and set up sufficient purchasing centers. He said that all the materials related to the purchase of paddy should be made available. Civil Supplies Officers Rajender and Sudhakar, Agriculture Officer Sujatha, Weights and Measures Officer Shankar, DCO Narsayya, other officers, staff, etc. participated in this meeting.
