Everyone should follow HIV prevention methods. A training program on counseling skills and HIV prevention methods was organized in the district headquarters Kakinada under the auspices of Bimabai Mahila Mandali for the members of the mandal level federations and village union members. Bimabai Mahila Mandali Project Director Vasamsetty Nandivardhana, who participated in the program, said that everyone should follow HIV prevention methods, and by doing so, an HIV-free society can be built. Health Program Organizer G Chandrakala explained about counseling skills and said that it is necessary to have skills like patient listening, responding, questioning, summarizing, and showing empathy. Mandal Level Implementer K Sivashankar said that counseling is professional guidance and support provided by an expert called a counselor to people facing mental, emotional or personal problems. Members of the project scope and staff of Bimabai Mahila Mandali participated in the program.
