Tirumala, September 26, 2026:
TTD has clarified the doubts expressed by devotees regarding the online booking of special entry tickets for Srivari at Rs. 300. It said that there is intense competition during booking due to the huge demand for tickets. It clarified that the online booking system is working well.

TTD said it is using modern technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Load Balancing, Auto Scaling, Distributed Application Architecture, and Horizontal Scaling to handle a large number of devotees trying to get tickets at the same time.

📊 Demand almost 9 times higher than quota

TTD said that around 6 lakh users are likely to try for tickets during peak demand. It explained that if each user tries for tickets for an average of four family members, there is a potential demand for around 24 lakh tickets .

However, with the available quota of only about 2.69 lakh tickets , the demand is said to be almost 9 times higher than the quota. It explained that due to this, thousands of people trying for the same slot at the same time, the tickets are being sold out in a very short time.

💻 Traffic control through virtual queue

TTD said that it is using the Virtual Queue system to avoid overloading the backend systems when a large number of requests are received. It clarified that this is not intended to deny tickets to devotees, but is a technical method used to regulate high traffic.

It states that messages such as ‘Slot Unavailable’ may appear in cases where tickets are sold out quickly due to high demand, and this should not be considered a technical failure based on this alone.

💳 Multiple systems in the payment process

TTD explained that the online payment process depends on the TTD application as well as external systems such as Payment Gateways, Banking Networks, and UPI Networks .

It said that when any transaction fails, the stage at which the problem occurred should be examined. It clarified that unavailability of tickets and malfunctioning of the online booking system should not be considered as one.

🔐 Further strengthen technical systems

TTD said that it is continuously making technological improvements in online booking, application, database performance, high-load handling, security, anti-bot mechanisms, payment processes, etc., taking into account the feedback of devotees.

It said that it is also reviewing Capacity Planning and Infrastructure Scaling based on previously recorded traffic patterns and estimated demand from future bookings.

🙏 Appeal not to believe false propaganda on social media

TTD said that the darshan and service quotas for the Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple and other temples are also being released through the same online system.

It is not possible for every booking attempt to be successful during times of high demand, and devotees are urged not to assume that there is a technical glitch in the online system based solely on the failure to obtain a ticket in one attempt.

TTD said that necessary steps are being taken to provide online booking services in a secure, transparent and technologically efficient manner . It appealed to devotees not to believe the false propaganda being spread on social media about TTD.

This announcement was made through the office of the Chief Public Relations Officer, TTD.
