Jaggayyapeta representative Jaggayyapeta MLA and Telugu Desam Party Politburo member Sriram Rajagopal (Tatayya) suggested that the youth are the key to the future of the country and that students should stay away from bad habits and focus on their future. MLA Sriram Rajagopal (Tatayya) attended the “Trishula Vayuham” program organized by Jaggayyapeta Circle Inspector (CI) Venkateshwarlu at the Grand Vadhuvar Function Hall above Satya Electronics on Kodad Road in Jaggayyapeta town as the chief guest. Addressing the students on this occasion, the MLA said that drug use has a serious impact on personal life as well as family and society. He suggested that students should completely stay away from drugs and focus on achieving their goals instead of becoming addicted to bad habits. The MLA said that everyone should act responsibly regarding the safety of women and girls. He advised that women should be treated with respect and that students should not be afraid to bring the problems they face to the attention of their parents, teachers and police. He also said that students should be aware of road safety. They should wear helmets while riding two-wheelers, follow traffic rules and not use cell phones while driving. MLA Tataiah appreciated the programs being conducted by the police department to create awareness among the people, especially the youth, on three main issues: drug eradication – women’s safety – road safety. He called on the people and students to be partners along with the police to create a safe environment in the society. Police officers, staff, students, teachers and others participated in the program.
