The accident happened on Saturday when an electric wire near the window caught fire, said the student’s father, Ravikumar. He expressed his grief that the principal and teachers were negligent in not taking his child to the hospital despite the girl’s cries. He said that the parents were informed and they immediately went to the school and took their child to a private hospital in Madanapalle.
